This week, several project partners attended the European Geothermal Congress 2025 in Zurich.
Along with talks on the topics of Swiss innovation and implementation in geothermal energy, Sector coupling, and Flexible heat and power generation, three papers will be published in the proceedings of the conference by our project partners: Morteza Esmaeilpour (ETH), Jordi García-Céspedes (ICGC), and Christopher Schifflechner (TUM).
A fruitful exchange was also possible at the poster session, where Timea Kostner (TUM) shared insights on BTES modeling, and Morteza Esmaeilpour (ETH) on the optimization of advanced geothermal systems.
We thank the organizers for a great event and are already looking forward to the next edition of the conference in 2028!
